Disneyland 2013 - A First Time for All

I once casually mentioned to my sister that our kids spring breaks were at the same time and we had talked about going to Disneyland. That's all it took it was on, and it was great. They were good travel companions as we come easily split up from each other and our kids are around the same ages. My brother in law also really knows the fast pass and stroller pass system, which saved us as it was crazy when we were there. It turned out to be Californians plus a lot of the surrounding states spring break as well. On the bright side, since I'd never gone I was just expecting crazy. They crazy can definitely be felt more in Disneyland, than California Adventure, which may be why we liked California Adventure better. My favorite rides would be autotoupia, Soaring over California and Goofy's Sky school. Landon loved California Screaming, Parker loved Luigi's tires and the racing part of Radiator Racers (not the part in the dark), Ashlyn the merry go round, and Jarrett liked  California Screaming' and grizzly rapids. It was a crazy trip as we came, spent 3 days at the parks and then left. When we go again I will definitely plan a break day in the middle. The two best things we did on the trip were rent a double stroller from city rentals and let our kids dictate what we did. We learned Parker hated any ride in the dark so we avoided most of those. We let Landon go on the Tower of Terror even though we didn't think he'd like it but he wanted to. He informed us after that he wouldn't have gone on it if he knew terror meant scary - we though he knew. Checked out all the parades as Ashlyn loved them but ducked out early on world of color as our kids aren't huge fans of loud noises. Learned when it makes you frustrated, leave to go eat. It will everyone's mood, especially on a day when 3 major rides break at the same time (yep, we have luck like that - luckily they all got fixed that day) And always bring more diapers and extra clothes then you think you'll need.
Landon had no clue who these guys were but his cousins were excited
Splash Mountain - Parker wasn't a huge fan

The best part of the ride was it took Jarrett halfway through to figure out Parker's driving mattered
Her first parade, also right after Parker told me he hated Disneyland - I bought him cotton candy to make up
Playing in toone town
Part of the giant bunny hop
More Parade
The tea cups - Parker was scared someone would drink him
My nephew by far the best reaction, so excited to meet the guys from up
He kept blinking his eyes like it was a dream
Being a wilderness scout (guy, cub -I don't Know)
Hopefully we can return in 2-3 years. This next kid has to at least out of needing naps.
