Landon waiting for the fireworks
I may be the only person who appreciates the rainy weather that July have brought but it hasn't stopped us from having fun. It seems we have spent most of July so far with the Stubbs girls. They were here while my sister went to Girl's camp staying at Grandma's. We went and hung out with them everyday. Landon had fun playing with them even though he was scared to go on the trampoline with the big girls. It was nice to have someone else who wanted to pay attention to him. While they were at Grandma's we went to the Canada festivities in Sherwood Park and learned that Landon does not like fireworks. The First one went off and he buried his head in my chest and did not want to come out. We all had fun going for a walk to the lake by Grandma's house every night. We also went to a Fancy Nancy party that my mom threw for the girls which Landon slept through most of but he was awake for the cupcakes and that's all that mattered. We then followed them home so that we could go to Tyler's blessing. Landon had even more fun as he got to play with Cooper and Carson - he's been talking about them ever since. Then the Stubbs girls came back with their mom so that we could all go the Taylor Swift/ Kenny Chesney concert. It was a lot of fun especially for the girls who knew all the Taylor Swift songs and we were all surprised how many Kenny Chesney songs we knew as he was no the reason we bought tickets. We were way up in the top of the stadium - 5 rows from the top but that is what you get for only paying $25 per a ticket. The second time they came back Landon we definitly a litttle too comfortable with them as he would use Roxy as an obstacle to jump over when she lied down. I now know to be extra careful when I put this new baby on the ground. Now we are back to being our normal boring selves.

Very surprising that Landon didn't like the fireworks! :) haha. Maybe next year! Landon is looking so grown up - it's crazy how quick they change in such a short period of time.
Hey, I am 7 months pregnant; I count every cool summer day as a blessing.
My kids have never seen fireworks. It takes forever for it to be dark out, and by then my kids are just too tired to make it. I wonder....
