We have Won with This Cutie Whose One

Our little girl is one and definitely a fun part of our family. The boys refer to her a ga-ga or baby and rarely Ashlyn. We call her Ash a lot. It is definitely fun to get to do girly things, I made her this tu-tu. I think the real love will probably come in the next year as she gets into dress-up. On the 15th (the Sunday) we had my parents and brother over for a birthday dinner.

We decided to have a ladybug and flower cake. The boys liked helping make the flowers and I love bulk barn for allowing we to get a little of each color sprinkles for cheap.

She thought that pulling the ribbon on Grandma's present was pretty funny.

Eating her cake, she wasn't super messy, except where she kept rubbing her hair, but she did eat most of it.

Hanging out in her new Grandma blanket while she plays with her new toy (she loves that pot)

On her real birthday we made pink Chocolate chip pancakes and her's was in the shape of a one.
The giant one balloon (that cost more than $8 more than we thought it would but didn't think we could go back once we had it filled, we needed to be more observant in the party store)
 Playing with her cooking pot.

We went out to Red Robin's for dinner and they all had a fun time. (I liked not having to make dinner)

Playing with her giant balloon.

At one Ashlyn is just under 20lbs and can walk but still prefers her knees sometimes. She likes eating esp. chicken, fries, sweet potatoes and fruit. Has a sweet tooth. Is pretty good natured, though she has had some needy spouts. Is so fun to dress buts hates getting he hair done.

How did she turn ONE so fast? The year went by so quickly. It seems like you only announced her birth a few months ago. She's a cutie!

I was gonna ask about the cost of the balloon, too, but Michelle beat me to it.
