We basically didn't do anything Halloweeny until the the 30th when we carved our pumpkin. It was the second pumpkin we had gotten as our first one turned to mush after being frozen then thawed. We got our kids all dressed up on the 30th so that they could face time their Grandparents in Lethbridge to show off their costumes. Not happy when I took pictures (Ashlyn it turned out had a fever, Parker wanted to carve the pumpkin), what I should have taken pictures of was them fighting to show their Grandparents their costumes. Halloween was just going to Sherwood Park in the morning to show off costumes, then school party and anxiously waiting for Dad to come home. It of course was snowing and windy, so they only went out for 1/2 hour. We had our 4 trick or treaters due to all the construction around us. The kids had a good time and are now hopped up on candy.
