Visit to Santa Take 2

So earlier in December Jarrett was out of town for a business trip and in an effort to stop us all from going crazy we went and visited Mrs Claus's story hour. It was a good plan as it was very well done and the kids loved it. She was great at explaining Santa's magic and what she does at the North Pole.

 

Ashlyn just sat and enjoyed her new penguin (a free with purchase gift)

Parker did go up and see Santa her (mainly due to a bribe to eat at McDonalds afterwords), though are problem turned out to be the nap skipping Ashlyn. - So you get a picture with me too. We loved this mall as we were allowed to take our own pictures with our own camera. They were doing it in an effort to raise toys and funds for the Christmas Bureau (something we already had got a toy for it and explained to our kids that we were giving it to Santa as he knew where the kids who's parent's need help buying presents live). I did pick this picture as Ashlyn and Santa have the same expression.
