Halloween 08

So Landon participated in his first real trick or treating experience. Luckily it was fairly warm. He dressed up like a turtle, though Jarrett said a lot of people thought he was a frog when they were out.

Here he is all ready to go with his Dad, Jarrett was the one that took him from house to house in my Parent's neighbourhood.

With his loot after only about 15 min. for some reason there were not that many trick or treaters in my parents neighbourhood, so everyone was giving Landon tons. He ended up going out again after this for about 45 min more which included taking a break to go on the slide in the park.

My parents gave him the pumpkin flashlight and glow sticks which he loved.

So Jarrett's been sharing Landon's trick or treat stories with me. When Jarrett would knock on the door and people would take a slower time getting to the door, Landon would put down his bag and his flashlight and then knock on the door and say "treat". He's a pretty shy kid who doesn't like to talk to strangers so that was pretty much all of the people would get.

I also thought it was kinda funny that they went to a house that offered Wine to all the parents, which Jarrett declined that treat but is happy to get to partake in all of Landon's other treats.
