We've been battling sickness at our house and I definitely didn't have energy for anything. We were calling it a good day if both Landon and I ate something.
I feel like I should write some post about resolutions but I never do them. I probably should as it is good to have goals.
I thought I'd share how I started 2009. We held a surprise Birthday party for my Mom's 60th birthday. It didn't turn out to be much of a surprise (but she did fake it for the grand kids) but it was defiantly one to remember. She was an hour late due to a car accident (nobody was hurt - it was caused by some ice). My brother kept on laughing saying "remember the party we threw for Mom and she didn't come" The party did turn out good though.
We had a white elephant gift exchange on New Year's Eve - the most interesting gift was probably a container of olives.
