Orgeon

We went with Jarrett's family to the Oregon Coast. It was a fun trip even though it was cold (definitely below average which meant I never actually put on a swimsuit to go in the ocean, nothing more than my toes got wet). It true form, my kids were both super sick with high fevers and strange rashes but we being the good parents that we are forced them to do things. The fevers did com in handy as it caused them to sleep more than normal which led to better drives as they slept more. It was a fun trip and I especially enjoyed that it wasn't camping.

I was surprised that my kids were okay with being buried in the sand but they both loved it. Parker just stood like that half-buried in the sand forever.

Above is my turn going on the dune buggy and below is Jarrett's. I'm in the middle row middle seat and Jarrett is back middle

This is when we all worked so hard to get out to the tide pools early in the morning only to be disappointed at our finds. We were trying to find a live crab, the only one we ever saw was is way to his demise at a crab shack.

It was a good trip and we even ran into my family who was staying at a different house farther up the coast but unfortunately that was the same day I dropped my camera into a tide pool, so that is when the pictures stop and why there are none of our stopover in Portland.

That's cool that the boys were fine with being buried in the sand.
