1. Yesterday Landon told me that it is time for lunch when the show for old people so that they don't get fat comes on. He is talking about sit and be fit on PBS.
2. Jarrett has been studying for a engineering exam that he wrote last Monday. I'm so glad it's done as I hate when he's home but not really available to help. it reminded me of when he was in school.
3. Landon went on his first field trip but wouldn't really participate in the fun activity due to what his teachers call being "cautious", I call it being a wimp. Unfortunately he comes by in naturally as I'm a big wimp.
4. He also inherited my ability to take horrible school pictures. Needless to say we did not spend our money on them.
5. Speaking of field trips, I was accidentally early to pick Landon up (turns out I can't read) and I got to hear the gem of " We don't have a fire extinguisher in our house, but I've seen one a Costco"
6. Ashlyn is mobile. This is not a good thing as I have to watch her super close and it causes her brothers to get mad at her when she takes their toys.
7. Parker is now in a big boy bed as he learned crib exiting techniques and put them to good use.
8. I think moving a kid to a bed is the worst transition, you don't really gain anything as a parent. They are now are harder to put to bed and can wander the house in the middle of the night.
9. Remember when I was excited for the Christmas season? i fed that excitement by buying Christmas decorations at the Crate and Barrel opening.
10. I'm taking a camera class and this picture was taken completely on manual (meaning I picked all the settings). What I learned last week will make them even better. Anyone want to teach me how to edit pictures in photoshop element 7 (which I have ) or recommend a good photo editing software.
