3 Party Days for a one Great 3rd Birthday

What do you do when you turn 3 you have 3 different celebrations. Which I now realize is a a trend in our family. We had one for his first, two for his second, hmm... should I get 26 for my 26th?

Day 1 of celebrations - We took Landon mini-golfing at West Edmonton Mall and then out to Boston Pizza for dinner. We had a great waitress who track down a candle for us, as that is one of Landon new Favorite things at Birthdays ( he's gone to two Birthday parties and both we had a problem with Landon blowing out the candles)

Excited to golf
Jarrett, it turns out not so much

Parker got in on the Golf action

Landon would get a little overzealous and out everybody's ball in the hole

He was not impressed when we had to wait

He was excited as he just blow out his candle

Day 2 of Celebrations or The Cake Day

We still haven't gotten to Landon's actual birthday. Unfortunately Jarrett was at work that day, so we had to put as much celebrating into his weekend. We spent Friday mini-golfing, Sat. at our Friend's for their son's birthday and Sunday we did Cake and his present from Mom and Dad
We got Landon an Ice Cream cake and thought a turkey was a pretty good representation of him

Blowing out his candles

His new bike. We bought this back in November, so we have been waiting a long time to give this to him and unfortunately he'll have to wait a long time to really use it.

How he feels about his bike

He loved Ice Cream Cake

Day 3 - His actual Birthday
We spent his actual Birthday is Calgary and had a pizza party with his cousins. It worked out pretty good as it will probably be one of the last times we see his cousins before they move to Idaho

I couldn't find everything to make the cupcakes I want to, so we ended up having worms and dirt. After going to our friend's Carter's party with the 3-D horse (think ace of cakes / cake boss), I just didn't feel like trying to compare. Landon still talks about Carter's cake.

Our one game - Pin the golf ball in the hole. this game actually made Landon mad as the golf ball didn't actually go in the hole

See - Landon in the background holding an actual golf ball looking not very impressed

All excited about his new blanket from Grandma Nelson

That is a whole lot of partying!

And I can totally see Maxwell getting frustrated that the ball didn't go IN the hole too.

How is the potty training going? I think Maxwell has actually got it now!
