It's Great to be Under 2

The fun thing about the age Landon is now is that he starting to enjoy and like to go out and do things and he is usually free! Last Monday we went to the Grand Opening of Bath and Body Works in West Edmonton Mall and while we were there we decided to ride the rides. We tried this back in April and Landon did not like it at all but this time he loved it. He got to ride on the cars. ( We don't have a good picture of him riding as he was blocked by somebody)
He went on the merry-go -round...
and didn't scream and cling to mommy, a plus from last time
A funny story, we got in line for Landon to ride the cars again but since it was a Monday afternoon and not very busy, they were alternating rides. So Jarrett was standing in the line for the cars and the ride guy told him to come put Landon on the planes. So Jarrett strapped Landon in and looked down and realized the floor didn't move and the planes did. You see on the other rides Landon went on an adult could sit or stand next to their kids on a moving platform. So the guy told Jarrett he had to exit the ride, Jarrett didn't know what to do but ended up leaving Landon. Jarrett came off and told me he was going to stand on the other side so Landon could see one of us as much as possible. Landon screamed at the first before the ride started but seemed to like it as it had got going. I was thankful that the operator could control which planes went up and Landon's stayed down.
So here's Landon at the age of 19 months on his first solo ride. Here' to hoping he's not a wimp about rides like his mom

Lol, glad to see that Landon enjoyed his plane ride. I'm such a wimp about rides too, so John will be taking Caleb on most of his rides, I think.

Looks like a fun day! I think we should do this for a mother's group thing one day! It's free so why not?!

We used to go there, too with our kids. It's so nice when they can do everything free, haha. I am cheap. Plus, if they end up not liking it, then you haven't wasted any money, right? Landon is getting so big now. Has he started Nursery yet? Does he like it?
