My #14 on my 100 list is that I love to read
I grew up in a family where you couldn't watch TV on school nights, thus to provide entertainment most of us have become avid readers. I'm usually someone who likes to read just to escape. I read all types of books and my husband definitely thinks a library card is a good investment. I bring books on all my trips including my honeymoon. I even brought books when I went to the hospital to have Landon (and I read the whole thing). Some of the authors I enjoy are Nicholas Sparks and Betsy Brannon Greene. I don't know what I would do without books and am trying to pass on the love of books to my son.

I am so glad that you said one of your favorite authors is Nicholas Sparks.. I love him. I too enjoy reading but wish I had more time to do it!!!
I love both of those authors and I think I've read all their books. I too love to read!!

My ilbrary card is one of my most used items. Because of it I have read some books that I never would have otherwise.

To answer the comment questions of others: SPT stands for Self-Portrait-Tuesday. Technically, it should include a picture of yourself, but they are great without too.
I love that you are a reader. And passing it on to your boy is so great. I am trying to raise readers too, and they are doing well. I just recently started to include chapter books into their lives, and we will read a little each night. Right now we are reading Stuart Little, and Carter keeps asking me what adventures Stuart is going to have next. Awesome.

i have just renewed my library card (after a four year hiatus.) amazing how easy it was to "read away" an entire weekend!
